Monika Ciura was a participant of the course as a student at the University of Warsaw. She is currently preparing a doctoral dissertation on the music of the ancient Maya. She also wrote several articles published in „Estudios Latinoamericanos„. She participated in the organization of the 2nd Warsaw Maya Meeting conference.
