One of the alumni of the course is the Polish epigrapher Kajetan Jagodziński, PhD, who later expanded his knowledge under the guidance of the renowned researcher Prof. Alfonso Lacadena from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. The fruit of this cooperation was research on the Dresden Codex, thanks to which it became possible to read heavily damaged fragments of the manuscript or to identify new scribes responsible for the creation of this Maya book.
